Using Google Apps on an Android is really easy. Just add your Google Apps account to the phone, then select the services you want to use, we'd recommend activating all Google services just now due to how quickly a dormant app can become the latest news in smart business. Each user should follow these instructions on their own phone.

Open the Accounts & Sync Settings screen on your phone. You can do this in Contacts by pressing Menu and touching Accounts, or directly in the Settings application. There may be a few intermediate steps on your model; if you not sure just ask us at Showcase Imagery.

  1. The Accounts & Sync Settings screen displays your current sync settings and a list of your current accounts.
  2. Touch Add account.
  3. Touch Google to add your Google Apps account.
  4. Touch Sign in when prompted for your Google Account.
  5. Enter your full Google Apps email address as your username, and then enter your password.
  6. Select which services you'd like to sync (all by default) between your phone and Google Apps.
  7. That's it! You can now use Google Apps from your Android.
  8. Additionally you will need to download Google Apps Device Policy for Android as a security feature. It's a tiny app and helps wipe business information from your device if lost/stolen.
  9. Additionally (and only if you're one of the super admins on the company's Google Apps) why don't you download the Google Admin app from the Play Store. Letting you take care of the most common tasks from anywhere you are. Add users, reset passwords, manage groups, contact support, and view domain setting changes.
